eternal wind by dog enterprises (Digital)
internet dating club The year is coming to a close so I donโt expect new revolutionary music to hit before the 2020s. Maybe dog enterprises hasn’t exactly done that but he has done something unique with this album worth noting. They take the vocal elements of radio weather broadcasts, typically found in weathersoft, and uses them in a dark ambient tone. Which works way better than I’ve even seen a weathersoft album in giving off the dark mysterious feelings of natural disasters. As it is Friday, I can safely say this is the most impactful album of the week for me. released December 12, 2019
Hologram Disk by Aquaplay Corp. (Digital)
Paradise Records We don’t get a lot of mallsoft tracks like Mirrored Buildings. What stands out is the soothing japanese singing that usually would be fit for a future funk track. Makes me wonder how many future funk songs could be transformed into a track like this. Mallfunk anyone? released December 11, 2019

๐๐๐ญ๐ ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ข by websurfer (Digital)
websurfer Typical ECCOJAMS sounds. The epic 80s feel in the track MECCA was interesting, also on the verge of being a synthwave track. I might be getting those vibes because of the album art though. I didn’t know what the album title meant and learned this: “Zeta Reticuli, Latinized from ฮถ Reticuli, is a wide binary star system in the southern constellation of Reticulum.” released December 11, 2019
ใใใใฎๅคฉๆฐ by ๅคฉๆฐไบๅ ฑ (Digital)
ๅคฉๆฐไบๅ ฑ I know that sample from something on the first track, Fushigi. It’s like my brain is hearing a christmas song as i hum along to such a familiar song. It’s weird how a tempo change and an effect can trick your brain into this in and out loop of familiar sounds. released December 11, 2019
UNTITLED CASSETTE VOL. 4 by BAKGROUND (Digital)
PURE LIFE The last time I listening to a release off Pure Life was for that ambient compilation. This time around they’ve released a wonderful future electronic mix by BAKGROUND. It’s titled UNTITLED CASSETTE VOL. 4 and this is exactly the kind of Cassette mix i dream of picking up from thrift shops. Usually the cassettes contain some random church service or a radio program. Still if I got this on a cassette, I feel like I was let into a secret underground club. Anyways, I’m getting dreamcast and street fighter feels off this mix for some reason. Anyone know where I can buy this one on a physical cassette? released December 11, 2019

Plastic Reverie by MindSpring Memories (Digital)
MindSpring Memories Usually I don’t like to post about singles as there’s usually an EP that follows. But damn is the album art on this my cup of tea. It’s this perfect mix of bubble gum, 90s and glitch. I could see this album art on a plastic holo foil tote bag – all shiny and tacky. Maybe I like this design too much but for you vaporwave fans; This is a cool track. It takes a mallsoft like soundtrack, throws some wobbles, and a background sax that follows the melody. The drums are just shoegaze enough that it’s calming. Those 5 minutes went by quick. Time for another listen. released April 10, 2019
Art by Incarta 95.
Futureworlds by SoLaRiS (Digital)
SoLaRiS The full album isn’t available yet but check out the track “A Glitchy Malfunction”. It’s an interesting mix of synthwave sounds but becomes this progressive beats like track dabbing into industrial. Get’s some video games feels in and out. Cool album thus far. released December 7, 2019
The World That No Longer Exist by ๋ถ๊ฐ์ฌ์๊ทธ๋งํผINTERNET (Digital)
Shibuya Audio Company The album art has DDS on it so i was interested. With tags like contemporary Jazz and Christain I wasn’t sure what I was expected to hear. As usual in Vaporwave, even if it looks like it’s going to be memes, there’s actually some pretty good music in there. The first song, Welcome, has an interesting transition between ambience, beats and experimental. Which is a great way to describe the rest of the album. Favorite track, Vague Hill. released December 11, 2019
